Bryan Moser, founder of GPD, recently edited a new book in partnership with the Project Management Institute's Brightline Initiative and MIT's System Design and Management. Based on research, papers, talks, and workshops at an event in 2018, the book examines the research and practices which expose the growing gap between the strategy function of firms and project implementation. Model-based project management leading to Project Design was highlighted in discussions and hands-on workshops. The book can be downloaded at the PMI Brightline website: link to Brightline here. |

Bryan Moser presented a talk on the future of project management for complex infrastructures and systems at the Obayashi Challenge event in Silicon Valley, California USA. He showed how research and practice of model-based project design will be joined by new instrumented teamwork and real-time analytics for "teams of teams" working on systems of systems.
