A new way to work

Is your organization struggling with lagging team performance? Are deliverables slipping? Focused on firefighting rather than value-added work? Struggling with inter-team dynamics? Tried Agile, but it didn't live up to the promise? If this sounds familiar, we can help.

In today’s complex work environment, teams face new challenges while being saddled with skills from an earlier era. GPD has pioneered research-based methods to transform teamwork backed by twenty years of practical industrial deployment.

GDP is a trusted partner to help your organization navigate a Teamwork and Management transformation, enabling your teams and organization to get back to adding value where it matters.

The GPD Way

With our breadth of expertise in project management, complex engineering, teamwork dynamics, systems thinking, strategy development, and AI development, backed by decades of research and industry application, our team can support your teams to get back on track.

Our team collaborates with industry partners to develop a long-term Transformation plan that reinvigorates your teams with the latest management and teamwork practices, accelerating your ability to deliver what you care about most: adding value to your customers.

For pressing needs, our team can support you through a Project Design session to baseline your current project and design a robust execution plan for complex programs.

Our approach starts with understanding you. We begin with a thorough capability assessment of your organization and teams, examining various factors, including Project Management Practices, Teamwork Dynamics, Systems Thinking, and Model-Based adoption.

Teamwork
Transformation

Good design is carefully thought out and requires all the elements to work together seamlessly and intuitively. Even minor flaws can lead to frustration and issues.

Teamwork is no different; when there is clear communication, trust, and good management practices, you get a high-performing team. In its absence, you get teams dealing with friction.

Teamwork transformation is all about aligning teams and improving practices for dynamic workplaces. Our team conducts assessments of the organization's capabilities, team dynamics, and the adoption of modern management practices and tools. We create a Transformation Roadmap that is communicated across the organization, with a targeted approach to drive improvement where and when it matters most.

Our team works closely with industry partners to oversee every aspect of the transformation. This approach is grounded in decades of research on teamwork transformation and its practical applications in industry.

Project Design

Project Design is all about getting to a clear, realistic and agreed project execution plan. At the core of this approach is the iterative and social process of bringing in various project stakeholders to rapidly generate and explore alternative project designs. Through this social and model-based approach, everyone's input can be taken into consideration, yielding a baseline project plan that is created iteratively, grounded in reality, and collaboratively designed.

A Project Design engagement takes on three stages: Discovery, Collaboration, and Action.

Discovery

In the discovery phase, our team will engage with all the project stakeholders to understand the problems faced and the capabilities, both technical and non-technical, that the organization possesses.

Collaboration

We bring together key stakeholders and facilitate a collaborative Project Design Workshop.

The purpose is twofold: to establish an agreed-upon project baseline and, more critically, to build trust among stakeholders in the plan.

Action

In the Action stage, teams start to execute off the baseline project plan. With additional training, we empower project leads to understand their project model and know how to adjust it.

Our team also provides a Transformation Roadmap, which serves as the starting point for longer-term organizational change.
